Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) have announced that Canada will shortly conduct Express Entry drawings for six additional categories of candidates.
Immigration Minister Sean Fraser has announced the commencement of category-based selection draws, which will replicate Canada’s existing program-specific draws under the Express Entry application management system. These drawings, which are slated to begin later this summer, will allow Canada to bring qualified workers with work experience in our most in-demand professions to the country.

Express Entry candidates with strong French language skills or work experience in the following fields will be prioritized by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC):
